The KCS28 chassis is a good one too. With what I learned on VK about restoring, I could make money off that!
My original condition 8T241 has a different CRT mask and I paid a helluva lot more for it from a local collector. Mine is missing the back cover too, but it has the original dealer sticker on it. Somebody get this and lets see a restore thread. |

No question it is an excellent performing chassis. The same one is used in the 9TW333 which I've been using for about an hour every day since April. Note that it can be configured to connect directly to 75 ohm coax.

That was a good chassis design which ran for several years. I have an 8T-243 that I have posted tying to find a home for, and also a later TC-127 that I restored and love. They both have the same chassis, but the 127 to me is a much better looking set with a double-D crt mask and nice wood. I was going to restore the 243, but I really don't like 40s sets OR the way they mounted the crt in those early RCAs.
