Philco Golden D Television

This one is in my possession for a few years, I was looking at it today and started to wonder: it is from what period? Can anyone indicate in what year it was made?

Based on the Predicta style channel knob and the general styling I would guess between 1959 and 1961.
Any later than that and the screens got a lot more square.

Give us the model number and we can look it up in the Photofact index.

The set is a 1957 model. Some of the '58 models were similar, but the control panels were slightly different. Side mount chassis and used larger printed circuit boards, than some of the earlier models. Power transformer, 5U4 design.

Predicta design. You can raise the sweep board just enough to get most of the cap leads.
