You would have been watching NBC on the famous WRGB, which had become the NBC TV network's first affiliate way back in 1939. In the 60s, local color programs would use GE color cameras:

Don't see many Ford Ranchero (Falcon) pickups on the road these days!

I knew some folks who had a Buick "Ranchero". Their '48 Buick had been rear-ended and severely damaged. So they chopped off everything aft of the front seat, and installed a pickup truck bed and fenders.

In fact, after the 'Ranchero' was finally retired, I inherited its radio. Awesome radio.
