check the resistors I mentioned.
check pin voltages of vert tubes.

Alright will do... The horizontal hold is so incredibly bad. What should I check in that section?

Way too high! Whenever I replace vertical section resistors I use larger wattage if they will fit and look right. If it is a 1/2 watt I use 1 watt. Vertical parts take a pounding from the waveforms and break down the resistors. RCA ran the vertical hot on the side chassis sets.

you might have to take the 10k out of circuit to test. Not sure I understand the flux reading on the 1.8 should be steady. the 1.0 being high may be a prob but you should have enough height adj to compensate if that is the only thing off.

before replacing a bunch of parts you should take voltage readings and try new tubes.

oh and number one thing to check would be the B+. Maker sure you are getting the correct line voltage in and the correct B+ coming out. If the set uses 5U4's try a fresh one or two of those.

hard to say since I don't know what you are doing with the pots. It "could" be the issue (lack of vert) but I have seen much larger drifting and still be ok. if you had been off like 10x then for sure.

check the tube voltages, try tube subbing and get back to me on the B+ voltages.
