Thumbs up BBC drama: THE HOUR

Gudday all,

Just finished watching The Hour and have to say I was very impressed with the representation of period broadcast equipment.

Anyone on here care to comment of the source of the Pye cameras, pedestals, and other 'starring' equipment?

Anyone care to put make/model numbers to same?

Being a nitpicker when it comes to historical dramas using the wrong props, the only queries I have are:

[A] the selection of prime lenses on the turret cameras looked too long and thin [i.e. small-iris telephoto?] for studio use,

[B] the boardroom TV was very small compared with lounge room sets in middle-class people's houses.

Other opinions? I enjoyed the series.

Compliments of the season to all
