It looks to me, to be from a Ford pickup or van.
It probably had to be altered to fit the 8 track bezel, as it's larger. The vehicle probably originally came with an AM radio.

Yup, turned out it was for the 1968-74 Ford Econoline. I tossed the bracket before finding this out, but I don't care for those vans anyway. I prefer the 1975-78 models.
