Yep, I'm guilty of buying the TV2 version with built-in USB memory. And It is just fun and really works in it's little form.
Here are the specs; Dimensions: 47.6mm x 36.6mm x 25.9mm (1.9" x 1.4" x 1.0") Display: IPS TFT 65K Color, 26mm (1.0"), 216x135 pixels Battery: Li-Polymer 3.7V, 150mAh, about 2 hours of video playback Storage: Built in 8GB, about 10 hours of video playback Audio: 16x9mm (0.6" x 0.4") front facing speaker Inputs: Power Button, 2 rotary knobs for channel and volume control Remote: Can be controlled by an Infrared (IR) remote control Processor: Raspberry Pi RP2040 Processor Connectivity: USB-C for uploading and battery charging It works out of the box with some pre-loaded videos. From there, you download their video converter to load your own. It takes in mpeg4 and downconverts to .avi. Then you USB connect and it shows up as a device. Just upload (a bit slow) the .avi and it is ready as a new channel. The speaker is too small to be really useful but it is there. The knobs control volume and channel change for each file. Color is quite good. You can set the conversion to show 4x3 with side pillars but I would skip for something this tiny. I loaded a BW movie to keep true to this forum and it looks great in BW.

Yup mine came with a removable 8gb sd card but I picked up a 16gb sd to hold more and I got the remote with it also and this one had to be put together and painted

I did the TV2. Not a kit and does not need painting unless you want a 1960's avacado color theme. And from the website;

The TV2 remote is fully enclosed in a case.
