SO a ceramic has 20 times MORE ++ than mags. Thats why it has to have a switch, most likely on the back to make it work right.

There Isn't though, that's the thing, and it came that way from the factory. I think the stereo might of been designed to automatically switch the input type according to the kind of audio it detected.
