Display room shelves completed

After almost 5 years in this house, I have finally completed the shelves in my display room. While I do have other radios and tvs throughout the house, this room has the majority of them. Unfortunately I do have more in storage that I don't have room for. Now, that the room is done, I will start pulling them down one at a time and completely restoring them, then put them back on the shelf.

Nice stuff, and nice area!

I couldn't help but think to myself though, damn, that room would look great if it were purple like mine

Love the clock radios ! !

I had one of these tv's when I was a kidling, what can you tell me about it...?
Nivico ? Delmonico ? Something like that...?

Among others I had a HotWheels lunch box! ! Then It got used to store tubes, then mom vanished it....

Like those late 50's metal tv's too ! ! !

Anyway again great display...

Thank you. I've been collecting since I was about 12 or so. My parents used to love it when I would bring another radio or tv home. Especially if it were a console.

All of them need some sort of work. When I first started, I would buy almost anything I could afford. After I got so many, I started buying only ones that catch my eye and that I could afford.

I used to have one of those G.E sets with the clock on top. '56-57 model IIRC.

Yes. Says Zenith right on the front. Somewhere around here I have the original paperwork for it as well.

That is a speaker out of a Philco console radio/phonograph I have. There is another one on top of the tv in photo 4. The radio came with both speakers that could be either left in the cabinet or moved out. It came with a large length of cord for them. The unit is out in storage right now awaiting restoration at sometime in the future.

I picked up that set about 15 years ago, when a local(Rochester, MN) tv repair shop was going out of business. I went to the auction they had and brought home a few things. Recapped and it works great.
