Home with Rozelle Tv show

I was at a local antique store searching for televisions today. I came across a booth that had a boat load of vintage pictures. All of the pictures were of a local TV show called Home with Rozelle. Most of the pictures were studio shots with TV cameras in them. One picture had a 60's picture with Miss Universe and Miss Florida. It did not have a camera in the picture so I did not buy it. The girls were very nice looking. I thought it was interesting to see some vintage studio shots. The color shot below is the only color picture in the box.

WRBL is still around in Columbus Georgia.
They have a Web Site, I couldn't log on directly to the home page but I was able to get in through the Sports section. http://www.wrbl.com/servlet/Satellit...=1034609540361

Maybe someone there could give you some info on Rozelle?

WRBL is still around. The lady at the checkout counter told me that the dealer got the pictures at an estate sale. There was a lot of color coordinated red kitchen items for sale also. I would bet that they came from the same place. Real shame the family did not think to save some of this history.

Here are a few more pictures:

Interview in the kitchen

I really liked the Policeman coming to tell the kids about stop signs and red lights. The stop sign is blurred out by the flash. I can see this happening before the kiddies were off to school.

View outside the Columbus Broadcasting Company.

Must be a program on the pending landing on the moon.

Another kitchen interview. Look at all that vintage stuff. A lot of folks would kill for that stuff. Remember this is a studio and not a house. Looks as though they had a living room and a kitchen set up for filming.

Where have all the local daily television shows gone? It is a real shame that not many of them are aired now days. Remember they had to fill where the networks left off. Where would we be if Tv went off at 12 midnight!!!!
