By the bye, Even my wife gave me a pretty good "Chewing" over what I did/said, & is even madder than normal at me. "You run yr damn mouth AGAIN didn't you ? Told you not to, but you wouldn't listen." Sometimes, it ain't easy/fun being me....

I read your thread , and I did not complain about it because I totally understood where your anger was coming from , you were betrayed by people you tried to help and were rightly angry and hurt over the betrayal . I figure your about the same age roughly as I am (I'm 12 years into retirement now) and to the people of our generation homosexuality was seen as a character flaw and was subject to open ridicule , even if the person wasn't a thief who would take advantage of those trying to help him . Nowadays the culture has changed and things like race , sexual orientation , and religious beliefs are no longer fair game to be used when assessing/assaulting someone's character , the goodness or badness of their actions alone being the yardstick with which to measure a person's moral timber . When angry , it's all too easy to "pull out all the stops" and throw everything different about the object of our ire out there for all the world to see , even though during calm thought we know that flawed characters as well as upstanding characters come in all kinds of races , creeds , and sexual orientations .

PS , of course ya gotta stay , up spiteful old cusses never give up !
