JVC Viewfinder VF-P315E - who are you?
Hi.
One of my latest arrivals at my collection (http://www.flickr.com/photos/109070145@N04/) was a JVC KY-27 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/1090701...7639087638954/) In the beginning I was just astonished about the brightness, clarity and wide-angle (like on a Sony broadcast-vf you can see the whole picture even from two feet away) picture it showed up with, but when I disassembled the mounting I found out that there is something wrong. As it was not possible to get a real fix between the viewfinders part of the mount an the camera-sides mount I realized that the do not really match together. Checking the KY-27 manuals, I found out that the KY-27 was shipped with the common type 115 or 116 viewfinder that would of course fit directly on the Sony-like bar. Well, the 315- viewfinder is really good - but not original. And in addition to this it is something very rare as I did not found a single picture, manual or description of that thing. So does anybody know where it comes from and what camera was equipment with that thing in the first place? Here are some more picture of the diva: http://www.flickr.com/photos/1090701...7639087638954/ (..and the following two). As you can see the eyepiece is missing, too. Maybe someone knows what other (available!) eyepiece could fit, I tried the one of the 115 - but it's diameter is too small. Thanks for your hints on that thing! Stefan |
