In CTC-5 Living Color - Santa's prep for Christmas

Santa's reading those letters until he can't stay awake, as seen on TV and on the top of the TV.

Thumbs up

What a treasure!
Hey, we have one of those ceramic Christmas trees in my family too. The one atop your set. It was grandma's and there is also a much larger white one with a massive original GE long incandescent bulb inside it. They must have been sold at either Woolworth's or Sears back then, since everything my grandparents owned was from there. I hotglued a few new color acorns inside the green one since they had fallen out over time.

Enjoy that set!

The ceramic tree was a gift from my Godmother one Christmas (to the family, not me in particular). I recall she had some part in creating it, maybe painting it, or maybe just assembling it, I don't know for sure. She gave several to friends and relatives that year.
You can still find the ornament jewels on line.

Excellent capture of cabinet and lit screen. That floor lamp looks original as well, perhaps late 30’s.

The lamp is that style, more or less, but it's some Chinese company's idea of the style from the early 2000's.

Oh wow that is awesome! Absolutely beautiful! Far better than some silly Chinese made flatscreen and it will keep you warm. Seriously I've never seen a roundie of any vintage look that good! Both Yamamaya42 and the Old TV Nut deserve a real standing ovation for their stewardship and pride. Well done.
