Zenith X323 assistance
Hey folks, I got the Zenith X323 in that I scored on eBay (radio in avatar). Radio works nicely, AM & FM. After taking the back off and upon closer inspection (after a good dusting with an air can), I saw a ceramic disc cap that had one leg not connected under one of the tube sockets. I was going to fix it last night and I tried to remove the chassis from the cabinet and could not. I removed all the chassis screws and one other inside holding the AM/FM/AFC switch to the cabinet front. The plastic dial assembly will not come out. There are no screws to remove on it...but I noticed three tabs that snap this assembly into the front of the dial glass. The only thing holding it in is this piece...but I cannot get to them to release it. Anyone ever taken one of these apart? and is there and easy way to get this apart without tearing it up? Thanks for any info or assistance you can render.
