Yep, 3 or 4 blinks is a power supply issue. There are fuses on the schematic that I couldn't find on the circuit board.

Thanks, I'll definitely be taking a look at that manual, and see if I can get my TV going as its in pretty decent shape yet and doesn't seem to be a high hours set.

I heard that you can hold the button down for 10 seconds and it will show you another code, if you have one.
If your diodes check OK, I'd check the MOSFETs, or anything that looks like a MOSFET, for short.
I think the EEPROMs are all the same on those "A" boards for most of those boards of that design.
