RCA Victor 9-Y-510

A pretty good thrift store score, set me back all of $5.

A short recap and a new power cord later she sounds sweet!

But a question arises, is where do I find a good needle for this thing? the TT does rotate, but I rather plop a nice new needle/stylus into her before trying an actual record on it.

I like these people. I would recommend on something this old to replace the cartridge as the old one may be dried out and not working right (if at all) and you get a new needle with the new cartridge, anyway. Get all the numbers off the cartridge and these folks will help you pick out the right one.
