Andrea chassis on Ebay

There is an Andrea 1F5 chassis up for bid on Ebay. The seller described it as having it's original 5 channel tuner. What I saw in the picture was no tuner, just a plate where it is supposed to be and no shaft.
The 1F5 came with a 2 channel tuner,not 5.
I sent a question to the seller about this and ,so far,no reply.
It looks fairly good, except for the tuner issue but probably does not have the speaker or the CRT mask,2 important components.

I've sent him a couple of messages also. Asking for additional pictures of under the chassis and about the missing tuner. Still no response.

Steve,

Just curious.
Isn't this the same seller that recently offered the Teleindustries set you had the winning bid on?

Final: $3228.78

With two minutes to go in the auction my computer crashed. But in the end it didn't matter. I wasn't gonna top that, no way.

Wow, that is quite a price for a chassis with no tuner (?), an extra knob shaft (tuner?), and no 5AP4 CRT, and no cabinet!

The winner wrote me and told me that he talked to the seller, who said that he posted the wrong picture, of a chassis he used to have, and that he couldn't post a new picture because there were already bidders. The winner plans to pick the set up and make sure it really does have a tuner.

The winner says he has a cabinet to go with it.

I would be concerned that the chassis he has may be a Transvision 7" kit chassis, That has a 5 channel tuner and looks a lot like the Andrea.

Just noticed that the seller, with a score of 3628 in two years, is suddenly NARU. 'Sup with that?
