Suzuki Carry
Saw my first Suzuki Carry here at a local bank. Its a small flatbed pickup sort of reminiscent of the Ford Econoline Pickup of the 60's.
It has a rear mounted 3 cylinder transaxle engine. It was right hand drive. The owner said it cost him $5500. It was legally licensed. There is also a van version that looks like it would make a good TV service van.

Where I live (Vancouver Island), there are quite a few of these JDM cars and trucks around. If I didn't inherit the Toyota Sienna i have now , I would be looking at something like that, or even bigger like a Toyota HiAce van. These vehicles from Japan tend to be very well looked after and often have low mileage for their age. JDM market vehicles also seem to have better build quality and finish too. In Canada the vehicle just needs to be 15 years old or older then it can be registered, after things like tires are changed to DOT spec, etc.
