Was at the thrift shop today and saw a Technovox ? haha
talk about a weird TV name !

Gold Star built it. The name is meant to sound like Magnavox.
I think its a Canadian label only.

Hi Zeno..I post the chassis number for my little RCA black and white on another post .. thanks... Anyway yes Goldstar are in circulation yet if my memory is good..I had a sears with a picture tube from Montreal but I don't know who made them...

The part number on the label looks like Goldstar to me.
IIRC, the name was mentioned on this forum before.

I thought of "Tektronix" when I saw that name. Tektronix makes television test and measurement equipment since the dawn of NTSC.

Well it's either GOLDSTAR or SAMSUNG, which I doubt the latter.

That was the name of my first color set. I didn't get the remote and not one universal manual listed the name. A RCA code worked though.
