Help Needed on a TOSHIBA 55L621U

The set turns on but then shuts off , a friends did the same thing a week later , research on the internet shows that there was a download that you put on a usb stick then plug it into the set turn it on and it works , the download is no longer available on the toshiba site , anyone have it or know anyone who has the down load ?
