Another NOS radio - 1948 RCA 8X521
By 1948 pre-war art-deco started to drift into a more "international" modern styling. This one was designed with a lot of care. The dial is sunk into the cabinet and the brass pointer darts out mid-air over it. When lit the dial has a soft glow with a bright red indicator at the 6:00 position below. The box has it's original inserts, instruction and "Golden Throat" die-cut brochure. The chassis has been fully restored and it plays like it looks.
