Buick-load of Zeniths

Picked these up yesterday from my good friend Danny in Atlanta. Sets include a 1969 23" tin can set with the 16Z7C50, an 18" tin can set from the same year with the 16Z7C19, a remote control 19" System 3 from 1979, a 19" CCII from 1977, and a 17" CCII from 1977. Pictures to come. They haven't been unloaded yet, and my back is killing me.

If he gave you any more you would have needed a Roadmaster.
Well it was a good round-up.

And YES ! the 17" set had the best pix of all the CC2 sets.
The 18" can be doggy & tube hungry but usually a good pix.

You guys were right about this Chromacolor II. The picture blew me away. Super bright and crisp, definitely took me by surprise.

I agree. It's a keeper alright. Here it is up next to my Trinitron and CTC-31.

I've been watching the 17" set daily, and it started exhibiting symptoms of dirty module connections. The brightness level is very flickery. It takes about two episodes of The Simpsons before it finally starts to calm down and act normal. I took all the modules out a few days ago and sprayed cleaner on the contacts, but it didn't do any good.

A bicentennial 1976 tube caddy to boot. How sweet it is. Nice finds. Your RCA has really nice red compared to the other 2.

Had the same flickering with my Heathkit. Clean all the controls.

TUD1....how are you modulating your Roku signal and what model Roku are you using? I have one out of 4 Roku players that will actually work with a modulator on my old sets. All of the others have some sort of color sync issue when I try to push them through a modulator.
