Sad...At least it was not one of their TOTL models. I do believe if they did THAT to a stratosphere a poor dumb CL seller would be announced dead on the news.

I mean... the front looks fairly tasteful to me, but the stars on the top and sides absolutely ruin it. Not to mention that it's been gutted.

The power transformer probably went up in smoke 50,60 years ago! Someone removed the chassis, thinking they were going to use the cabinet for something else.
In the early to mid-50's, just about every make and model of console radio was lined up at the Goodwill, like soldiers. $1.50 to $5.00 each. Around twenty sets at any given time.
