I have one of these sets, (non working) I will have to check if its a 6 or 6U.
Singer sold a lot of stuff in the 60s. They bought out Friden, and sold (Japanese made) electronic calculators under the Singer name for a few years. I'm using a Singer branded nixie tube calculator to do my taxes. Also have a small Singer battery portable record player with 2 plug in speakers for stereo sound. Singer also made portabe, stereos much like the KLH portables, but until this thread I didn't know they owned KLH.

Wow.Great news. What a clear pix and love to see "I Love Lucy" on it. I have this set.I cant recall the mod number now .I got check and see if she fires up.

Just dug mine out, its a 6U. Think i will tackle some easier to work on sets before I try fixing it though.. Its amazingly heavy...
