Another rare pre-war TV turns-up! Love to see the actual pic. A very rare piece.

It's not prewar. The listing says "prototype made between 1945 and 1947". While the set is interesting, it strikes me as disingenuous to use "prewar" in the title of the listing. It's no more "prewar" than a DuMont RA-101 or an RCA 630TS.

Ah! Good eye. I didn't even notice that at first glance. It's likely "pre-war" technology like with the Viewtone's and Transvision's.

My sense is that this is a kit TV in a home made cabinet, and while it’s interesting it’s value may be somewhat....lacking. Would help to see the chassis, I could be wrong though.

It looks awfully similar to the 7 inch Transvision kits, which are valuable themselves, but top out right around $1K in flawless condition.

A view of the chassis will help narrow it down. The Transvision and Viewtone chassis are very distinctive.

Red face

If that's a pre-war set, so's my Tele-King!
