Question rca ctc9

i have this ctc9 that i am thinking about putting into daily use. 4 or 5 hours a day. the problem see attatched pix. down from the top of picture about 3 inches the picture is wavey perfect convergence. on the left side of the screen there is three pink horizontal lines kinda looks like lineriety problem not convergence.
also what do you guys think about putting a nos crt in this set with the brighter phosphers. the crt in this set is good but not as good as my other crts in my other sets.

I have heard that RCA Service Co. was doing this in the late '70s using 21FBP22. Should be a worthwhile improvement.

Not easy to see in pic, but looks like there may be some oscillation going on in the RF or IF stages. Try to see it on a scope if possible to narrow down what stage its in. Then check for open bypass caps, loose grounds, tube shield contacts. Try swapping tubes in these stages also.
