GTE Sylvania 9VADP4 CRT

Hi.

Just wondering if anyone here knows some good sources for a replacement for this CRT, other than the eBay auction that I list on my webpage I link just below...

https://entrex480.blogspot.com/2019/...ments-gte.html

This came from a rare computer terminal, which uses a Motorola Chassis M9VP106-Z00 Model XM226-16

I have a feeling I'm going to need more than one of these...

GTE Sylvania
9VADP4
9VAHP4
240AB4A
Banctec P/N: 4210

Thanks everyone...

Do you think a 9VAEP4 might substitute for it? The ETF has a NOS one listed.

WISCOJIM, thank you very much for this suggestion. I don't know if it is equivalent, but I will figure it out. I've just sent a request for a price with shipping via email to them.

I'll report here if I receive any reply.

Much appreciated!

I do have a 9VADP4 in a 9" Motorola B/W portable set. It seems to be a early '70's model. The CRT is a Sylvania sourced, Motorola branded tube.
I still have to test it, but it should be OK.
I can PM you after checking it, with the price and shipping.

You might be able to use the CRT from an old compact macintosh, too.

I finally took the time to test the CRT!
It tests perfect on my Sencore CR70.
I'll PM you! Dave.

Please forgive what I now know is called "necroposting", but since I started this thread, and I wish to resurrect it, hopefully it's not considered rude...

Anyway, I've come into more of these exact CRT chassis that are in need of repair, and so it's an occasion for me to hunt down more 9VADP4.

Does anyone here have a lead on any NOS (or even good used) 9VADP4 CRT tubes?

Much appreciated, thank you!
Best,
AJ
