Ed-
It has been a while since I "messed with" my DSR-922 settings, though I do just plain use it fairly often. Primarily, I listen to the music channels on it, which are still available and not encrypted. What I do remember is, you can create a free online account with the one remaining provider of programming to 4DTV receiver owners, and once that account is active, you can get a "re-hit", which if I remember right does things such as reset the clock. I also recommend satforums, because there are pitfalls to these receivers and the data streams now that can make things worse if I remember right. I think there are/were still some unencrypted 4DTV video channels, but I have not tried to tune any in in quite a while. Maybe Lyngsat will have details. One important thing is to avoid a site called "music workshop chicago" or similar; they claim to "help" 4DTV owners but are apparently only some type of scam from everything I have read.
