So, why are TV collectors such cheapskates? Even a new in the box CT-100, or many prewar sets couldn't even get to half of that.
My guess, people who collect these games were Computer Geeks back in the day, they grew up and got jobs with (or founded) companies like Microsoft, Apple, Google, etc... i.e. they have tons of money!
