I've got its blonde double-first cousin..Pretty good set. Zenith must have made 17 bazillion versions of this basic set from about 1950-65 or so...I see 'em all the time in Antique Shoppes.

Right you are Sandy, although I don't recall ever seeing a blonde K-731. Might be the case in the tons of variants offered; T2542, etc.
Zenith probably made more K-731s than any other table radio, so obviously they were very popular. It should be the first or second radio in any Zenith collection.
