Star Trek: The Original Series in high definition

In September 2006, CBS Paramount Domestic Television (now known as CBS Television Distribution, the current rights holders for the Star Trek television franchises) began syndication of an enhanced version of Star Trek: The Original Series in high definition with new CGI visual effects.

I remember watching Star Trek every weekday at 5 PM from Baltimore on Channel 5 WTTG Washington. The film would break or the scratches were horrible.

It's a treat watching ME TV !!!

I am glad Metv is showing them, BUT I really wish they would air the orig and the cuts are killing it. last week there was so much cut it lost a lot (like Miramoni being pregnant with kiroks kid, I mean geez just a minor detail. Also no explanation why the ship was late to the rendevous point to divert the astroid (the whole reason they abandoned the search for kirk. I am pretty sure that was covered. and the cute comment about making the lamp, little details perhaps but enough to remember from 40yrs ago.

Man! I need to get my over the air antenna hooked up to my digital converter and get MeTv!!! I have DirecTV and they do not carry it. I can get it on channel 7.2 in the Wash DC area over the air. Gotta get on that.
