4K HDMI cable and HDMI Audio out Questions

Are 4K Hdmi cables really superior ? can you see a difference ?

also om a 4K player it has a second HDMI Audio only output , is there an hdmi to rca plugs that will work to hook it to older receiver or do i need that $10 box that converts from walmart ?
