JVC/Victor HR-W5 W-VHS Machine found!

I was not expecting to find one of these for cheap, even in Japan.

So yeah, 1994 standard for HDTV in Japan. Supports 1035i or regular 480i. It was about 1700 Japanese Yen, or about $20CAD. Good luck finding one ANYWHERE at that price. The front bezel face has popped out of its screw mounts but that's fairly easy to deal with. What isn't however is it's massive. The photos give the scale and it weighs almost ten kilograms. It's a beast and doesn't fit in my luggage. I am planning to give it to a friend back in Canada in exchange for an NEC PC-98 series machine already in North America.
