Panasonic CTK-2781S Console

My slighty used Panasonic color console, model CTK-2781S gave me a surprise the other day when I turned it on after sitting idle for about eight months.. I rarely use it. The picture displayed showed a severe vertical linearity problem. I am pretty sure it is just an open, dried out capacitor. However, I have no service manual or cannot find one online. It would sure help. I can try just jumping out various caps in the vertical section while observing the picture but that would be time consuming. I would appreciate any direction in finding a manual for my television.

Find the vert out IC. Cold joints are common on them & that
goes on almost all brands.
For caps do this. Find the parts designation for the vert IC. This will be like
IC401. In this case all vert related parts will be marked in the 400 series.
Ex R407, C410 etc.
Find & change all the lytic caps marked C4## a few at a time then test.
The IC is cheap so if you order caps pick one up also. We usually changed it
even if it was just a cold joint. Customers felt much better if a part was changed anyhows. Some day I will write about customer psychology !!!
Good luck
