1975 RCA 9" B&W portable

This was the newest set I brought home from the etf, it works as found (all I had to do was rotate the yoke and adjust the vert size). It still has the tinted plastic that goes over the front, the original rechargeable battery pack, and an unbroken antenna. (But I figured the batteries probably wouldn't take a charge and didn't even try.) It should make a nice little tv to put on my desk.

IIRC, they're lead acid.
I have the same model and one badged JCPenney. Fine working sets.

Love it! I wonder what it was about that era and the whole rechargeable battery thing? We sold Zenith and they had small B&W' with a battery pack as well.
IIRC Zenith's weren't built in, but sat on a base that had the batteries in there. They were NOT cheap to replace and not long lived, as we were ordering those packs when the set s were fairly new.
