1956 Sears Silvertone Medalist console

I have a Sears Silvertone Custom High Fidelity Medalist television receiver with clock control. My Dad bought this set 12-24-56. It does not work. The style is solid maple colonial. It has a clock that would turn the TV on and off when a particular show was on. Is there any interest in a TV like this? Can it be repaired?

I bet it could be repaired, a recap for starters then go from there. Sounds like a cool set. Welcome to VK!

Welcome to VK! I'm willing to bet it could be made to run again. There's a lot of different things that can be wrong with a television set that age; some more serious than others. I don't know anything about the collector's market, but I know it sure sounds interesting to me!
