My mint '66 portacolor with NIB crt was lost in a storm. Looking for a new one myself..but I know I will never find one in that condition with brand-new crt again. 11SP22 was the tube..it had coarse phosphor dots but was literally used for less than 5 or 6 hours total.

If its like the ones we had in Australia, there will be two grey caps across the secondary winding and sometimes one on the primary, change these for x or y rated caps,go intermittent short, fuse blowing bridge rectifier goes open on 1 leg, giving hum bars,if it's one with the synchronous converter, where the line output stage drives the chopper power supply, look for a 220k resistor, replace with 2 100k high voltage types,usual,BU126 or BU208 types suitable as replacements for the power transistors, dry joints on the yoke plug, and horiz drive trans.Sometimes agc lockout caused by a little 1uf cap, hiding on the VHF tuner.
