Dodge Warlock

Thought I'd share the latest addition to the fleet. This is my 1978 Dodge Warlock. It was bought new by a family friend, a Mopar guy from way back. He always kept it garaged & never ran it very hard. About 2 years ago he decided it was time to let it go, and my father was interested. Dad had it refinished/restriped, had the 318 "massaged" (well, after he ran it too hard and spun a bearing he had to do something!) and added the side pipes. Sadly, my father fell ill with cancer about a year ago and he passed away February 2015. I had wanted to have some good talks with Dad over this last year but he rarely felt up to it; during one of the best heart-to-heart talks he told me he wanted me to have his truck. It's actually a little too nice for my fleet! She runs great; I need to do a few minor things, including getting the 8 track to work again Yesterday, as a tribute to Dad, I held it to the floor from a stop. No, she didn't squeal, but sounded really good and that 727 is the best shifting transmission I've ever driven. Don't worry, my foot isn't that heavy, so it won't see such abuse on a regular basis!
