Electrolytics with two wires
Brain fart here..
I have two electrolytics in my 41 philco radio. One of them pictured has tow wires coming out..do I use two seperate electrolytics (22mf/450v)..twist the (-) together and feed (+) wire to each of the blue and red wires? one cap to the red, one to the blue? |

yes, what you have is quite common in philco receivers, the black is NEG or ground, the red is 1 section of the multisection electrolytic and the blue is the other, simply twist the 2 new cap grnds together, then solder, then solder each remaining lead to its position.

I have a Masco PA amp with one of those weird things. One antique radio supply actually sells them, though I forget which one it was.
