The set-top antenna is in several different places in the four pictures. It must've been hard to get decent reception in that location. I never saw a sofa with that kind of arm, where the cushion was part way under the arm. The TV, that a good question? It looks like an Admiral, turned upside down. To me, it could be an East-coast make, Olympic, CBS Columbia! Not enough of the front is visible. |

Watching Perry Mason Episodes. There are a lot of Radio's,.. TV's and Great old Cars. His main "go to guy" Detective Paul, drives a nice Corvette. This set was spied in The case of the Vagabond Vixen.

17" Zenith circa 1954... Some had a pop up band shell speaker on top.

Makes sense, Zenith may have been a sponsor.

Yes, one of the nicest vintage TV's. I put it in my "if you can have only one" list. A nice looking set and a great performer once restored.
Here's a couple more I've culled from the Net: A late '40's rare Videodyne, and a Philco 1948 48-1001: |

As I'm app to do, I improved the contrast on the photo on the left. Hope you don't mind. -Steve D.

Fine with me too, although that pic looks a little muddy.
Here's what that Videodyne TV actually looks like in case anyone is curious: |

Did anyone figure out what brand set they are watching? I've been searching google images for an hour and come up short.
