Found new home for my TVs

No, I haven't parted with my 100+ TVs. I currently have two storage units costing me over $800/month for the pair. So I purchased a small 800 sq ft house 100 miles away up in the mountains for them to live in. It's costing me 1/2 as much and I can write off taxes and interest. I hope to have enough space after putting them on racks to visit them. It gets cold up there 18 degrees at night but the place has a good roof so no worries about them getting wet. I ordered some rot iron window guards from Home Depot to help protect them from breakins. Now I have to rent a truck and move them up there. I'll be keeping my most valuable 3-4 sets at home here in Seal Beach.

Wrought? Wonder what insurance on them would be like. Does one get to declare an agreed value?

Sounds like a decent solution....I'd be leery of no climate control, though.

I'd want to keep the temp no lower than 40 and no higher than 87....Tubes can implode or leak from temperature shifts, and I've seen rubber and plastic parts degrade from both temp extremes...
