Ed's T.V. Service
I decided to check out the older TV shops in my area. There are a lot more than I realized. This is the first one I've been too. If I had gotten to it 5 years ago I would have hit the jackpot.
He's been in the business since 1956. He moved to his present location years ago. He got rid of all the old tube sets he had around, including a basement full of round CRT's that he couldn't find use for. He will be disposing of the more modern sets he has now. I don't think he has anything going back past the late '70s. He has a substantial stash of old RCA power transformers and flybacks. He also has modules for the CTC-74 and Zenith sets. I didn't see anything I needed, but if someone needs something among that which I've mentioned I'd give him a ring. Ed's T.V. Service 506 S. Lansing St. St. Johns, MI 48879 989-224-6061 I hope this didn't turn into too much of an ad to be in this section of the forums. He's really sharp for someone his age. I asked him if he had ever seen one of those RCA sets that didn't have controls, just a remote and he said "You mean the CTC-74?" John |
