1986 Samsung color tv

Hi All. Yesterday I inherited a 1986 Samsung 19" color set. A good friend of the family passed away unexpectedly last week and his spouse is working through the grief by cleaning out old stuff. Today i feel like working on the set and clean the brightness, contrast, color, hue and tuner controls. It turns out the crt shows weak so i dig out the CR70 and run it through a auto restore cycle. The crt comes back to life with decent brightness, for now at least. I didn't know that Samsung made tv's for the US market back in 86. Here are a couple of pics of the set.
