I'm new also... Anyone in Denver?

Hi all! I found this forum when I was looking up information on an old Starlie mobile small TV set. I don't know a ton about this stuff but have family that has owned/ran an old wholesale extrinsic supply company since the 50's, including tv/radio, and more!

Welcome, well I'm not in Denver, but not too far from you, that is I'm in Omaha NE. I've been there, nice city, and seemed a lot nicer than Omaha, however I don't' think I would want to put up with the massive snows that you get there in the wintertime. If anyone in your family has any old TVs or electronics that they would like to sell or get rid of at a reasonable price, let me know. Who knows, maybe I'll be heading that way sometime next summer.

Not in Denver, but in Farmington, New Mexico, a bit south and west. Have family in Grand Junction, and get up into Colorado quite a bit.

Welcome from another newbie!

Great to have both of you from out west. You cannot be to careful lest a good old set with tubes gets junked. We need eyes-out everywhere.

This is really an appreciation club, the more the better Welcome~!

Hey, Goose....we lived in Lakewood for 30 years, and recently moved to Westcliffe, (south of Canon City), but get up to Denver pretty frequently...I am quite new here myself, but there are whole bunch of great, knowledgeble and helpful folks on this forum.......if you can't find an answer here, you're in trouble!

I've been doing vintage radios on and off for about 30 years, but the TV's are a whole new ballgame....so far I have a '50 Philco tabletop which I've restored, a '55 Capehart Console, and a Philco Predicta Princess both waiting to be done.

I'll keep an eye out for your posts, and we can meet up sometime when I am in Big D!

Mark
