Hello from Rhode Island

Hi all. Just signed up, though I've been lurking for a few days. Great site, lots of good info.

Cool to see so many other like minded peolple.

Started "collecting" tvs while on a quest for a knob tuned set last year. I needed one to help me in my home transformation, that is I'm making my home a retro house, equipped as I remember houses being in the blue collar 1970's that I grew up in. Rotary phones, knob tunes tvs, record players, basically any appliance with wood grain, wall paint colors, fabrics and some furniture too. Far out : )

I also collect vintage muscle bikes and I've got a couple muscle cars as well. I do all my own work on them as well as my house but have never delved into electronics, so I may have more than a few questions or be looking for a talented old school repair guy reasonably close to me.

Al

Welcome!

Don't forget the shag carpet in your 70's house. Or disco music playing in every room, or pet rocks, or mood rings, or bell bottom jeans, or ..... whoa, I'm trippin' out!
