An old Admiral (Model 23 TS) from Spain!
Hi Folks!
Today I like to introduce the story of a "spanish" Admiral ! This TV receiver was made around 1958, has a 21" CRT with 70° deflection. It is one of the sets with the stylish position that the controls on/off-volume and channel selector are mounted over the CRT. I might have a low quality schematic from a spanish schematic book, but I prefer something from Sams! What I have to say is, that most companies from Italy, England, and the USA had to send disassembled parts of TVs to Spain where they were assembled. It has something to do with labor and taxes. Telefunken had its own factory since the 30s. So its an Admiral Model 23 TS / chassis IT 17C2 The writing on the back is in spanish and english. Many thanks in advance! TV-collector

Sam's usually didn't cover export models, but it's probably similar to a US model that Sam's did cover. If you can figure out which US model it's closest to you could probably order the sams for the US model it was based on...the circuitry may be somewhat different though.
