DVD players with Coaxial Output?

Hello.. Not sure if this is in the right category.. I have a Panasonic DVD DMR-ES10 and the ES15.. Most people use them these days as a TBC to transfer video to digital.. They both have the Coaxial RF in/out.. I connected it to a vintage TV, and there is no output, even says in the instruction manual that it does not output video or audio.. Not sure why it's even there.. I would like to connect a DVD player without going through a VCR or modulator.. Any DVD players out there that works with coax output??

Every combo DVD/VCR deck I have used has a usable RF output with the DVD player. I recommend seeking out one of them.

Also... slightly OT, but I really like the cheapo Mediasonic Homeworx HW-150PVR ATSC receiver/DVR/media player from Amazon ($40). The GUI is clunky but it will output HDMI in 1080p and RF in 480i simultaneously. It also has component and composite outputs. That's a nice one-box solution for looping videos on a retro TV, or just watching OTA TV or downloaded videos.

Edit: They also make a stripped-down box that loses the DVR and component jacks for only $30, the HW130STB. Haven't tried that one out.

Found a Sanyo DRW-500 DVD Recorder at a Thrift shop for $20 and it does output to TV through Coaxial.. It's dated 2004.. Not sure if it has a TBC, does have a small fan in the back..
