I reckon I could make a killing gutting flat screens and turning them into ant farms.

Im not recollecting that the person who created that radio, posted about it here in any fashion let alone gain acceptance.

The statement I made wasn't directed at the person who made it, it was directed at your comment.
Again, it may not be anything rare and great, but the truth of the matter is that the radio survived for 70 years in whatever state it was in, and that there's about a 70% likelihood that in its present state, it'll hit the garbage within 5-8 years after being sold to different owners for a progressively low amount until it ends up at someone's garage sale for $50 or less. Now granted, we may not know what state it was in when he started. Might not have even been restorable with a reasonable amount of work. By the same token, having restored old cars, I also hate rat rods.

Or sounding like one at the very least. There are these guys who frequently sit in their fart can-equipped junkers at the curb by my building, revving their engines. If they really think fart cans make their sorry excuses for cars go faster, why don't they use them to leave faster?
