My Website Fell Over! But I'm performing CPR on the remains.

Some of you may be familiar with my website 'Transistor Radio Design'

Well it fell over and I lost a lot of photos and information. I'm in the process of putting it back together again and have a new domain name http://www.jamesbutters.com/ The old link no longer works...

As of today I have 32 pages up and running

Let me know what you think

Cheers

-james-

Geez - I remember browsing your site for a few hours some time back. Sorry you lost so many photos! It was/is an excellent website.

As one who manages hundreds of websites, I am curious as to how your website "fell over" and you "lost" photos and information. What type of hosting were you using? You deleted all of your web content locally?

Just curious...

I've got to get on the nut and start backing up my site site locally.

What happens is that hosting companies have their own hardware problems from time to time and these kinds of things can happen. ALWAYS keep a local backup of your websites.

I really like FileZilla....

You might find some of your missing pictures at the "Wayback Machine",
http://www.archive.org/web/web.php

I had to go there to dig up some pictures I found missing from one of my web pages.
