I was under the impression you had NO Video but a slight hint of green flare from a bright object, which is why I recommended touching up the Beam current, this is a common thing to do when troubleshooting cameras with tubes that are weak or been sitting, service manual procedure is about the same but using a light box
you will get a comet tail from a bright object but should go away fast, Saticons feature was minimal flare/ and very small comet tails, a good saticon tube should not show green flare unless bean and other adjustments are needing touching up, and will only show comet tails, you have to be careful adjust controls because you can really screw up the alignment on those, beam current is the simplest to do .
